Room and Tax Will Not Post
Error:  No In-house Guests

Issue:  Room & Tax will not post from RDPWin even though there ARE in-house guests. Error reads “There are no in-house guests.”

Solution

  1. Navigate to RDPWin -> System -> File Utilities and select Initialize Date Fields.
  2. Select "All Tables" from the File drop-down.
  3. Click Process.
  4. If the utility does not complete successfully, go to RDPWin -> System -> File Utilities and select Rebuild Files & Indexes. 
  5.  Select the "All Critical Files" radio button and confirm the "Rebuild Files and Indexes" radio button is selected.
  6. Click Process.
  7. Repeat Steps 1 - 3.
  8. Post Room & Tax
