Stat 161 Error Maximum License Count Reached
Issue: Stat 161 Error Maximum License Count Reached when customers either:
- Download a trial version of Pervasive from the pervasive website.
This error will appear when the temporary version expires.
- The customer is truly trying to use more licenses than those owned.
For example, a 10-user license is purchased and 11 users are trying to
access RDP simultaneously.
Solution
Verify the number of licensed
users on the server. There are two ways to check the license:
- Select License Administrator from Start | Programs | Pervasive | PSQL##
| Utilities submenu.
- Review the license information provided. Inputting the
key changes the status of the license from temporary to
permanent.

- Select Monitor from Start | Programs | Pervasive | PSQL##
| Utilities submenu.
- Select Resource Usage from the MicroKernel menu.

- When this error regularly occurs, contact RDP Sales at (970)
845-1140 to purchase additional licenses.
