Configuration Utility Does Not Appear in Pervasive Control Center

Problem: "Configuration Utility" does not appear as an option in the Pervasive Control Center
Solution: To solve this problem, use the following steps.
  1. Go to Start | Programs | Pervasive | Pervasive Control Center
  2. Select View | Options | Tools | Add
  3. In the PVSW\Bin folder, you should see PVCONFIG.DLL.  Double-Click this file in order to add the Configuration Utility to the Pervasive Control Center.

If PVCONFIG.DLL does NOT appear in the PVSW\BIN folder, make sure that all files are being displayed in Windows Explorer.  Use the folllowing steps to double-check this option.

  1. Open Windows Explorer.
  2. Open the PVSW\BIN folder.
  3. Click View | Folder Options
  4. Select the View tab
  5. Under "Hidden Files", be sure the option is selected for "Show all files".
  6. Click Apply and OK to save these changes.
  7. Follow steps 1 - 3 above for adding the Configuration Utility to the Pervasive Control Center.
