Credit Card Receipts Not Printing from RDPWin

Issue

Credit card receipts do not print from RDPWin. Certain printers/computers do not respond to the request to print the receipt.


Solution

Configure RDPWin to use the Crystal Report credit card receipt. If other crystal reports print, the Crystal credit card receipt will print as well. To enable this receipt:

  1. In RDPWin, go to the System menu --> Configuration.
  2. Select Protobase or VRP, depending upon which credit card interface is installed.
  3. Check the Use the Following Crystal Report for Receipts box.
  4. Click the Browse button and select the CreditCardReceipt from the Reports10\FrontDesk folder. Note: A custom receipt can be created using this standard report. If customizing, make sure to save this report with a different name, so the RDPWin update does not override the changes.
