IRM.Net Customize Cancellation Policy Text

Customize cancellation policy text to display on the IRM.Net. A general cancellation policy can be created and displayed for all reservations, or create rate plan specific cancellation policies. The Agree to Cancellation Policies checkbox must enabled from the Reservation Tab in the IRM.Net Configuration for this feature to be active.

General Cancellation Policy

This cancellation policy text displays below the Agree to Cancellation Policy checkbox. . Guests must check the box indicating that have read and agree to the cancellation policy. The Agree to Cancellation Policies checkbox must enabled from the Reservation Tab in the IRM.Net Configuration for this feature to be active.

Create a HTML file on the IRM.Net server to notify guests of this policy. The cancellation policy displays on the ResEntry.aspx page. The HTML file that contains the cancellation policy is called CancellationPolicy.htm. This file must reside in:
c:\inetpub\wwwwroot\IRMNet\Custom\<RDP Sever>\RDP01\UserText\CancellationPolicies.htm

Rate Plan Specific Cancellation Policy

Rate Plans can have cancellation policy text display on the IRM.Net that is specific to the rate. For example, a holiday rate may have a different cancellation policy than the standard rate, and may require more advance notice in order to cancel. The Agree to Cancellation Policies checkbox must enabled from the Reservation Tab in the IRM.Net Configuration for this feature to be active.

Create a HTML file on the IRM.Net server to notify guests of the rate's cancellation policy.  The These files must reside in: c:\inetpub\wwwroot\IRMNet\Custom\<RDP Server>\RDP01\UserText\RatePlans\XXXX_CancellationPolicies.htm replacing the XXXX with the 4-character rate plan.  For example, if the rate plan is RACK, then the file is RACK_CancellationPolicies.htm.
