Solution
- CALL RDP SUPPORT IMMEDIATELY.
- Llog into the applicable directory using RDP-DOS.
- At Main Menu, enter 99 and hit <ENTER> to go to the System Utilities Menu.
Type 090 and click the <ENTER> key to go
to Change System Tables.
- Type U and hit enter to Update Table
Records.
- Type the numbers 00 and hit enter and then
type L and click the enter key. This will list the sub-records in table 00.
- Type 80 and hit enter and then enter
again to enter sub-record 80.
- Type 1 and hit enter to jump to the (1)
File Name field.
- Rename the file to HRESERVE.DAT and click the
enter key.
- Enter F and click the enter key to file.
- Click Esc a few times to exit all the way out to the main
menu.
- At the main menu type “changall” in the option field
-> click the enter key.
- This takes you to the screen below where you want to type in
“1” and hit enter to process.
- Type 80 in File Number and click the enter
key - type G8 in Page Code and hit enter.
- Type 33 in Page Offset and click the enter
key. This will fill in some info and jump to Value.
- Click the enter key - type Y in Blank Fill
and click the enter key.
- You will then be prompted to proceed, type in Y and
click the enter key.
- The process will complete, click the enter key and
Esc to return to the main menu in Dos.
- Type 99 and click the enter key to go to the
System Utilities Menu.
- Type 994 and click the enter key to go to the
Rebuild an RDP Data File.
- Type the letter R and click the enter key to
Rebuild data file.
- Type the number 80 and click the enter key,
this will prompt you to rebuild file 80 HRESERVE.DAT, type in Y
and click the enter key to proceed.
After the rebuild is completed click the enter key
and then Esc, this will return you to the 99 System Utilities Menu.
Type 995 and enter to Rebuild Availability File.
- Type F and click the enter key. Choose
your printer, click the enter key.
- After the 995 runs, availability should reset
successfully.
- If errors are detected, review the 995 print out to make
availability corrections.
