Status 1021 from Workgroup engine on Windows XP with NTFS if logged on as user other than AdministratorAdded 8/08/2003 - Article ID#: K000174 When using the RDP System on a local workstation running Windows 2000 or XP it is essential to logon as a user who is a member of the Administrators group for the local workstation and that the workstation be a member of the same domain as the RDP Data server. If not a variety of errors may occur:

Cause of this problemPermissions are too restrictive for user other than the built in Administrator to create or update filesSolution:Log into the local workstation as someone as a member of the administrators group.You may have to un-install and re-install Pervasive if the problem still occurs. Note: There are special steps required to install Pervasive on Citrix or Terminal Server. See Pervasive Work Group Engine Required, Run as Service on Citrix/Terminal Server. The work group engine can be purchased from RDP by calling RDP Sales. Warning: 64-bit workstations are not supported for call accounting, phone actuator, maid phone, voicemail, and point sale interface computers. These programs still require the use of 16-bit MS DOS program, which is not supported on 64-bit machines. 32-bit operating systems are supported for interfaces. | ||||||||||||||
